I used to do a lot of fun and interesting language geek stuff for big corporations. I developed language learning content in two dozen languages, I taught English and French, I trained and supervised other language instructors, I managed editorial teams, I edited language courses, and I came up with cool new ways for people to learn languages, through live instruction, with self-study books and audio, with apps and online.I still do all of that, but now for my own business, The Language Garage. And thankfully, a lot of the really great teachers and writers and linguists and passionate language people I worked with over the years are still working with me.When I’m not teaching or developing content for the Language Garage or training instructors how to use it, I’m either studying some language, reading about some language, or walking the dogs.
