I founded Network Chemistry in 2002 and acted as the CEO, head of engineering and CTO. Network Chemistry made a number of products for securing 802.11 wireless networks. I was responsible for conceiving of and implementing significant portions of these products, including:* RFprotect Sensors - hardware sensors for receiving and analyzing 802.11 signals.* RFprotect Distributed - intrusion prevention system for wireless networks.* RFprotect Mobile - laptop based 802.11 analysis tool.* RFprotect Endpoint - endpoint agent for protection again 802.11 threats and central management server.* RFprotect Scanner - wired network based scanning appliance for discovering wireless access points.* Bluescanner - Bluetooth discovery and vulnerability assessment tool.In July 2007 I helped sell Network Chemistry to Aruba Networks.

I helped build and manage the software team at Ubicom from one person. My team and I designed a wide range of products from a PDA-like toy, to wireless access points, as well as working on the architecture for Ubicom's Wireless Networks Processors and a networking optimized operating system and TCP/IP stack.

Celsius Research developed embedded network software and hardware for industrial applications. Several of the Celsius Research projects were done under contract to Ubicom and later became Ubicom products.I am most proud of the Javelin Stamp embedded Java virtual machine which I developed and which is now sold by Parallax Inc.
