As the Managing Director and Principal of the practice, my team was responsible for valuing privately owned corporations and intellectual property assets. We were hired by trial attorneys, private equity investors, creditors, c-level executives and the court to assist with establishing fair market value and/or fair value for such assets as it relates to investments, divestitures, purchases, intellectual property, intangible property, shareholder disputes, sales of thinly traded securities, bankruptcy, and many other engagements. In addition to the valuation assignments, we were engaged by trial attorneys to calculate commercial damages for complex, litigated, national and international matters.
