With soon 30 years of experience using most of the common tools on the market for mechanical design and development I have contributed to many successful projects. Combined with 10 years of experience in project management including technical sales and customer support has made my view on how to succeed clear.Starting as a consultant and later working in various industries in different countries, sometimes close to the customer and sometimes hands-on in the production, has built a broad understanding of the many parameters affecting business.Culture and language many times play a big part in business and I have first-hand experience of just how important understanding the customer can be. It can mean as much as doubling the turn over many times. Whether it comes to the discussion between sales, engineers and production or people from different countries I have numerous times taken the role as the interpreter to ensure that right needs are fulfilled and that proper targets are set.The required core competence for any problem solver should be innovativeness. Working in a fast paced industry I have been required to quickly come up with solutions to design challenges, customer requests, manufacturability, quality assurance and optimization to name a few. But all the joy from succeeding together with all kinds of team members makes me ready for the next mission impossible.

Cooperating with chemists, purchasing and machine operators we sought the best parameters for various product types and together with sales and customers we worked hard to find the optimum solutions. -
