3Shape develops 3D scanners and CAD/CAM software solutions for the dental and audio industries.Currently I am part of a research team in R&D, where the main emphasis is focused on analyzing and developing solutions for 3D models that represent teeth through Machine Learning (mainly Deep Learning).Technologies used: Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, C#, Git, Confluence.

Scape Technologies is a Danish automation and software company specializing in the challenging field of Bin-Picking.Some of the biggest tasks I have contributed to:- Proposed and was part of the implementation of the company's first idea in introducting Deep Learning as part of classification and recognition tasks.- Designing and implementing a new API for effective and high level drawing of Bin Picking workcells.- Re-implementing 3D views to more up to-date 3D Software.Technologies used: C++, Qt, OpenGL, Git, SVN, Visual Studio 2017.

Designing and implementing robotic solutions for wind turbine maintenance and repairing in collaboration with a famous wind turbine company.Responsibilites:-Designing-Implementing Robotic Solutions for automating maintanance tasks-Designing Hardware Camera Robotic Setup-Implementing Graphical User Interface for robotic functionalities

As part of my master thesis, I was accepted at University of California, Merced where for seven months I was part of the Computer Vision research lab as a research assistant under the supervision of Associate Professor Ming-Hsuan Yang. My research of interest included computer vision, machine learning and convolutional neural networks. My master thesis topic concerned how convolutional neural networks can be used in order to increase precision in pedestrian detectors.In this time my responsibilities included: -Designing and implementing high precision and innovative convolutional neural networks for detection, segmentation and tracking.-Creating and labeling custom datasets for high quality convolutional neural networks.-Being up-to-date with research that was conducted in top conferences in the field of computer vision (CVPR, ECCV, ICCV) in order to research and brainstorm further improvement in areas of interest.

In parallel to my master studies, I was hired as a student developer in the SmartC2Net project, a project which researched the energy distribution in small towns around Denmark. My responsibilities included:-Managing the graphical user interface responsible for visualizing results made from energy distributions through Google Maps overlays.-Design and Implementation of MySQL Databases for managing and sorting data collected.-One-to-one mapping functions for collecting data and converting it to visualization formats.
