Significant improvements in real time monitoring, and visual displays were introduced as well as the concept of tee cards. Latterly Christos further embedded our systems by assisting with the launch of electronic displays at each WorkCentre. Christos was invited back at a later stage where he led the project to implement an Engineering maintenance operating system to improve reliability centred maintenance and improve Shut safety, quality, and efficiencies of planned maintenance shuts which resulted in significant reduction of unplanned downtime and increase of machine availability, helping our O.E.E. to increase. He is an excellent communicator, who is friendly, and patient but can also be strong in questioning techniques, to ensure that non conformances can be flushed out and improvements reached. Our last project together was carried out following the COVID pandemic to ensure that we refreshed and recovered the Management Operating system and retrained over 100 operators in the principals of the LEAN management systems.
