Leading the strategic planning, development and implementation of the Accelerator (business creation) pillar for the EIT Health Scandinavian node, which consists of regional (public), industry and academic partners in Sweden, Denmark and Estonia. The EIT Health Accelerator pillar provides support throughout the entire value chain (incubation, validation and scale) to the brightest life science entrepreneurs mainly within Medtech, Biotech and Digital Health areas.My responsibilities span from business coaching of young entrepreneurs, MSc and PhD/Postdoc students with entrepreneurial mindset, to consulting, advising and monitoring the development of startups, preparing for, matching and connecting startups with mentors and investors, building a strong network of Scandinavian living labs & test beds to contribute to product and service validation through access to citizens, engage accelerators and incubators of the Scandinavian node to contribute in tackling major health challenges in European level, scout, identify and on-board innovative startups and small businesses, contribute in building pan-European network of life science mentors and coaches with experts from Scandinavia, develop and run training and funding specialized programs from application evaluation, to selection and implementation with a main goal to shorten the time from getting brilliant ideas off the ground and into the market.
