Edit scholarly manuscripts originally written by non-native English speakers in the areas of business, environmental studies, industrial engineering, and biotechnology.

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of several of Cotton Incorporated's sustainability initiatives, including managing the textile industry data collection for the life cycle inventory and assessment of cotton fiber and fabric.

Conducted literature-based research and managed the development of data to support the Sustainability Metrics and Reporting System (SMRS) for the Clothing, Footwear, and Textiles sector. Reviewed, synthesized, and reported on life cycle, ecological literature, and social-based literature, as well as other types of quantitative data, tools, and research to identify environmental impacts and associated improvement opportunities for consumer goods and products. Developed tool kits, with cooperation from member companies, for The Sustainability Consortium's SAP store, including Key Performance Indicators and the Category Sustainability Profile for textile products.

 Developed the International Programs Office for the College of Textiles at NC State University. Represented the interests of the College of Textiles on the International Operations Council and the Study Abroad Advisory Board for NC State University.  Served as academic advisor to incoming and outgoing exchange students. Served as advisor for visiting scholars from Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Ghana, Germany and Australia.  Awarded a grant through the Junior Faculty Development Program. Served as an Academic Coach for Pack Promise Scholars, students with exceptional financial need. Selected to present research papers at various international textile conferences in Finland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and the United States. Traveled internationally to investigate potential collaboration opportunities with the College of Textiles in the areas of joint research, student exchange, faculty exchange, etc. Developed and led a study abroad summer program, Textile Supply Chain Management in Vietnam. https://ncsucollegeoftextilesinvietnam.shutterfly.com/ Increased percentage of College of Textiles students participating in study abroad programs by graduation from 26% to 42%. Organized research and study abroad trips for Centennial scholarship recipients to universities in Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Japan. Developed, with the cooperation of other university departments, the first 3+X program with Donghua University in China. Developed and coordinated student and faculty research and exchange programs with universities in Central and South America, Africa, Australia, Europe, and Asia. Taught the following undergraduate and graduate courses:-TAM 480 - Production Management Decisions for Textile Operations-T 493 – International Internship in Textiles-TT 105 – Introduction to Technical Textiles-TT/FTM 499 – Senior Project-TTM 588 – Textile Global Supply Chain Management in Vietnam

 Research focused on Business-to-Business electronic commerce in textile manufacturing. Teaching Assistant for Operations Management and Control and Supply Chain Management courses.

 Taught Introduction to Textiles, a required course for undergraduate students in the Retail Management B.A. Program.

 Performed market research for North Carolina companies interested in expanding their market internationally. Organized the Textile Trade Symposium 2001, a conference for textile and apparel companies interested in international trade. Wrote briefing paper for the Governor of North Carolina on issues affecting the textile and apparel industries. Worked with North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles to develop an internship program with the North Carolina Department of Commerce. Assisted in recruiting companies to be a part of the North Carolina Pavilion at Exintex 2001 in Puebla, Mexico.

 Assisted in the initial startup of the member services department. Helped customers integrate the Texbid exchange model within their business plan. Offered guidance on entering product specifications, auction details and basic Internet tips. Performed testing prior to site updates. Performed database tracking and organization of auction materials.  Profiled customers in order to assist in the development of marketing programs for sales events. Composed and distributed bi-weekly marketing emails. Attended trade shows and demonstrated the benefits of using the website.
