Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of a large size Basic Science department. Exercise a high degree of initiative and independent judgement. Develop educational opportunities to all staff and faculty regarding benefits and retirement/investment options. Plan, organize and develop goals and procedures for the section. Represent the section to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervise subordinate staff.

General Securities licensed Representative (Series 7-FINRA) & Uniform Combined State (TX) Law Exam licensed (Series 66) Investment Securities Broker and licensed TX Life, Accident & Health Insurance Agent. Advised individual clients in regards to investment and retirement options. Assisted clients in building a personal financial plan to better prepare them for future needs.

Director for administration of the County Hospital Employee Health Benefits Plan along with oversight of departmental operations and supervision of subordinate staff. Assisted with departmental annual budgeting processes and worked directly with Administration, Human Resources, Compliance/Legal, and Case Management to administer program benefits.
