Supervise, select, train, and evaluate the Residence Life Coordinator Staff. Counsel RAs and students about personal, social, and educational matters to those living in Residential spaces. Provide direction and support for student learning through programs and activities sponsored by the residence life staff and with collaboration with colleagues across campus. Served as a judicial hearing officer with occasional responsibility as a case presenter to the campus judicial board.

Provided referral, support, and guidance for students and housing staff such as Resident Assistants and Office Assistants. Educated, challenged, and engaged students in teachable moments within the residence halls. Provide support throughout the title IX process when selected as a Title IX advisor or investigator.

Lead efforts to review office procedures including projects to improve efficiency, internal and external communication, and record keeping. Provide administrative and technical support for Residence Life Staff. Processed payment vouchers and invoices for the Residence Life Office and Staff, and reconciled the department credit card.

Facilitated and maintained a residential community of roughly 280 students to encourage student growth and development through student programming and community building. Promoted the Housing and Residence Life mission while supervising a staff of six to seven paraprofessionals. Advised hall government to help promote student involvement in address hall issues, provide programming opportunities, and open forum for students to express their opinions.

Coordinated dates, time of arrival, and departure for summer athletic conferences while supervising student desk receptionists. Supervised Summer security assistants to make sure buildings were secured throughout the summer.

Helped welcome incoming students to Northern Michigan University while assisting in training and supervising 10 staff assistants. Co-presented presentations to students over five orientation sessions.
