I have been in the mortgage industry 12+ years and am an experienced loan officer specializing in FNMA, FLMCA, FHA, VA, Rural Housing, & HARP. I was born & raised in Salt Lake City, UT, moved to South Carolina in 2002 and entered the Mortgage industry and also sold Real Estate. This experience gives me a multifaceted view of the mortgage business because I have been on multiple sides to the mortgage transaction.I work closely with real estate agents to get their clients pre-approved and ready to shop for properties so they are ready to write an offer when they find the perfect home. I believe strongly in educating my clients and am very hands-on, keeping close contact, and being available to my clients throughout the loan process. My goals are to benefit each client and make a difference in their lives by helping the new home buyer with a purchase mortgage for the home of their dreams, or increasing monthly cash flow for my refinance customers by lowering monthly mortgage payments. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing I succeeded in making someone’s life better by helping my borrowers achieve their dream of home ownership, and/or increasing their monthly financial status.I am a graduate of the University of Utah where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, and a Certificate in Public Administration. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my two dogs. I love to travel, especially to tropical places with beautiful beaches & palm trees, as well as exploring new countries and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy water sports including scuba diving, boating, and jet skiing, as well as the occasional trip home to the mountains to go snow skiing. At the end of each day I enjoy relaxing with a good book.
