My goal is to be an effective nurse manager and educator. With great leadership and education, patients receive compassionate, professional and effective care. Coupling this with leadership’s commitment to the employee improves the work environment by creating a sustainable staff that is experienced, committed and efficient. Furthering my career will include completing the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at The University of Texas at Arlington, which I am currently enrolled. This will enhance my leadership knowledge and expertise to create positive environments for students to grow and learn. In leadership, this advanced degree will enhance my ability to foster the necessary climate for excellence to develop in bedside care.
