Wrote grant proposals, obtaining more than $7.9 million for air quality improvement. Managed two programs in accordance with all regulatory requirements. Performed special investigations regarding complaints submitted to the District by members of the public. Responded to industry and public inquiries regarding District rules, regulations, and procedures by telephone, in person, and in writing. Developed and recommended revisions to District procedures and regulations. Maintained accurate records and files. Prepared periodic and special reports related to work performed.*Co-wrote seven grant proposals for the DERA grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), obtaining $7 million. *Wrote proposal and obtained $500,000 for the 2010 -2011 Solicitation Air Quality Improvement Program.*Wrote proposal and was awarded up to $464,000 to implement the Lawn & Garden Project (LGER). *Implemented and managed the REMOVE II Program. Developed new technology programs that aide in emission reductions. Responsible for Vanpool Voucher Incentive Program, Telecommunications Component, Bicycle Infrastructure Component, Public Transportation Subsidy and Park-and-Ride Lot Component, Alternative Fuel Vehicle Mechanic Training Component.*Implemented and managed the Wood Stove Change-Out Program. Developed program materials, calculated cost-effectiveness of projects, processed applications, developed contracts, and processed claims. Conducted workshops with stakeholders. Restructured program for the 2011/2012 fiscal year. *Managed client applications and contracts for the Proposition 1B, Clean Green Yard Machine, and Polluting Automobile Scrap and Salvage Programs.*Provide photography for the Outreach and Communications Department projects, including the 2011 Kids’ Calendar.
