As a Language Specialist, I teach English to students who are preparing for higher education in the U.S. or who are currently enrolled in graduate school. I work with international teaching assistants, preparing them for successful lab and classroom interactions. In addition to teaching international students studying in the U.S., my position as a Language Specialist at Penn has allowed me to work with a variety of English language learners: professors at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, students at Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan, international professional soccer players with the Philadelphia Union, and Global Guides at the Penn Museum in Philadelphia.
