I work in the Emergency Department, Registering Patients and advising of Insurance.

I have my license and am looking for a place to start my new business. I am also wanting to attend a microblading course.

Pre determination coordinator. Faxing orders, contacting patients to keep them on track for their surgeries. In contact with the patients primary care physician to let them know the progress of the patient and to get the clinicals needed to complete the Insurance pre determination process. Writing letters to all the different insurance companies, with each individual patients conditions to get the patient approved for surgery. Patient advocate. Advising patients when they are approved and them handing over chart to surgery scheduler. Verifying every new patient to make sure they have the Bariatric benefit otherwise they have to pay cash.

Oversee all aspects of the practice to include employees, billing, payroll, marketing, advertising, seminars, support groups, patient education, insurance approval, working with hospitals, vendors, maintaining the surgery schedule and personal assistant to surgeon.
