I tell stories. I have a track record of taking complex information, distilling it into an easy-to-digest format and then presenting it in the most appropriate channel and medium, whether that be an article or blog post, an infographic,a social post, a video or a game or quiz. I use weekend words instead of corporate speak, put people at the center of everything, and, if appropriate, delight the reader with humor and a sense of fun.For the last 14 years, I managed content for the Alaska Airlines intranet, ensuring that information employees needed was easy to find, relevant and timely. Before that, I worked as a journalist for MSN and the Seattle Times, editing and reformatting printed material to a web format. My background combining journalism and corporate communications gives me a unique skill set to deliver on a variety of communication needs. I am known for meeting deadlines, working well under pressure, being a great team player and taking a customer-focused (whether internal or external) approach to everything I do.
