NPU unites parents of color, low-income parents, special needs parents, single mothers and fathers, grandparents, formerly incarcerated parents and parents in recovery with traditionally represented parent voices to join a vibrant coalition that disrupts the traditional role of parent voice in policy space. It develops a new narrative that is inclusive of families from a wide variety of perspectives.

Led the representation of the culturally rich and widely diverse Hispanic consumer experience. As the I&I Chair, coordinated the research, collection and presentation of cultural insights and ideas to influence product development and innovation with the goal to impact the profitability of the business.HEART is also a resource group that is committed to promoting the recruiting and retention of Latinxs and that strives to foster a compelling work environment in which all employees feel valued, accepted and respected.

Researching, ideating, developing and bringing intercultural editorial strategies to life is my expertise. At Hallmark, I am responsible for executing insight-led product solutions for everyday and multi-season Spanish language and multicultural greeting card offerings. My partnership with the studio art director in leading a highly efficient and successful product development team is continuously recognized and awarded. I work in close collaboration with editors, creative planners, designers, outsourced editorial resources, writers and marketing partners to bring editorially focused products out to market. Some of the exciting challenges of my role include planning, directing and implementing creative strategies across multiple programs with tight and overlapping deadlines. I manage editors, providing them with opportunities to grow, explore, and further their career objectives. I create training materials for product development, coaching and support for Hallmark International partners. I also enjoy taking deep dives into consumer research and provide Hispanic emerging market insights in conjunction with Spanish language solutions for product development and marketing teams (including visual merchandising, books, keepsakes, Hallmark International, home and gifts, gift presentation, Hallmark Business Connections, jewelry, customization studio and Hallmark.com.)I have managed the Hallmark VIDA Spanish language social media accounts, and co‐developed all multi‐format content for Facebook and Instagram. I also support and partner with marketing teams pricing ideas and content to launch seasonal product campaigns and increase consumer brand awareness.

Co-developed all marketing and communications materials including blog, bimonthly courier, promotional materials (digital and printed), event invitations, etc. for AARCH. Ensured all materials were in alignment with ERG’s mission to: foster Asian-American cultural education and awareness, support recruitment, development and retention of Asian-American employees, influence product development and impact retail presence for the Asian-American consumer. Through communications, strengthened the relationship with organizations that have similar business interests as Hallmark.

Supported development of editorial strategy through creative analysis, editorial/conceptual exploration, and consumer research. Responsible for the continuous ideation and creation of greeting card editorial product solutions. Through research, data collection and analysis, provided consumer insights for the development of editorial strategy targeting multicultural consumers.
