As a member of the SCBWI-MI leadership team, I'm currently serving as the Promotions Coordinator. The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) is the preeminent membership organization for children’s book creators. Our mission is to support the creation of an abundance of quality children’s books, so that young people everywhere have the books they need and deserve. I previously held various leadership and business partnership roles within the professional services, consumer goods and non-profit industries. Skilled in talent management, change management and employee engagement. Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective working relationships. Passion for helping create healthy cultures where employees feel productive and thrive.
