Wayne Township's mission is to provide educational opportunities for adults to meet their personal, professional and civic goals and potential. We accomplish this mission by offering English Language Acquisition Classes, High School Equivalency Classes as well as Post Secondary Preparation Classes.

Lead Youth Connections an agency dedicated to family services, crisis intervention and positive youth development. • Responsible for the management of four full-time and seven part-time staff persons • Provided fiscal oversight for $250,000 budget that provides resources for six programs • Engaged at risk youth as advocates to reverse a multi million dollar state budget cut• Grew the reserve fund by 600% and secured a $100,000 endowed gift• Advanced the agency’s relationships with donors and elected officials.

Governor’s Indiana Commission on Community Service and Volunteerism • Increased youth involvement by 200% by recruiting 153 youth in two months• Coordinated the Governor’s Indiana Youth Summit educating 235 youth into 45 projects• Coached the advocacy committee through the legislative process with their bill• Hosted a Youth Legislative Breakfast that educated 300 youth and 42 officials on bills

• Administered a multi-site budget with 38 AmeriCorps members and 20 site directors• Developed workshops on teambuilding, grants, board service, and community service• Implemented an initiative that resulted in $300,000 levered into 10 endowments • Represented youth serving agencies on a Unified State Planning process
