As someone who values health and wellness, I initially pursued a career in massage therapy. However, I soon realized that my aversion to feet was a significant barrier. Despite this, my time in massage school ignited my passion for customer service, leading me to excel and advance into management roles. In these positions, I not only mastered inventory management and driving sales but also how to listen, coach, and grow an individual and a team.Transitioning to an HR role allowed me to further specialize in the employee experience. I successfully managed the onboarding of new employees and leadership team members, developed comprehensive new hire training programs, and handled talent acquisition, performance development, manager coaching, offboarding, and general HR duties. Each of these experiences enriched my understanding of how to support and enhance the employee lifecycle.At Meta, I leveraged my customer service expertise to improve the candidate experience while expanding my skills in employee engagement. Over three different roles within the People/Recruiting organization, I acted as a strategic cross-functional partner, leading and delivering impactful process and program improvements across the business.
