The National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) is dedicated to recognizing our NIHF Inductees and incorporating their experience and knowledge into our curricula to inspire creativity at a young age. In partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, our Pre-K through 8th grade STEM programs: Invention Playground (Pre-K), Camp Invention (K-6), Club Invention (1-6) and Invention Project (6-8) are designed to impact students through fun, hands-on activities. I am a mom, wife, daughter, friend, and advocate of STEM and creative problem-solving education. I love volunteering, country music, and the Georgia Bulldogs! I've seen the impact of our non-profit program personally, through the eyes of my two children, who have come home from Camp Invention excited to not only continue to invent but use entrepreneurial and intellectual property skills that they have learned during the camp week.Careers in the STEM field are the fastest growing segment, yet they go unfilled due to a lack of a qualified talent pool. Despite the availability of STEM career opportunities, students are opting out of this path.
