As a learning experience design consultant, I create engaging learning experiences by integrating relevant stories and scenarios with interactive technology. I can get know-how out of a subject matter expert's head and transform it into a valuable learning experience for others. I have converted multiple face-to-face classes for online learning. For example, I converted a soft skills training course to self-paced elearning, adding branching video scenarios for learners to practice the skills in context. I also provide project management and learning technology consulting, including helping clients use LMSs effectively and select the best tools to meet their needs.Clients include the National Alliance for Partnerships for Equity (NAPE), FIRST, Cisco, and Matrix Animation.

I was part of a team converting a year-long sales training program from face-to-face to blended learning with TelePresence and WebEx. I led the efforts to create a learning portal in Moodle to integrate all of the different parts of the training: content, collaboration, scheduling, and assessment. I coordinated development and maintenance of online university courses with authentic assessment and real-world activities. I was the liaison between the online course development group and other teams, including brick and mortar campuses, program chairs, and IT. I started as an Instructional Designer in July 2004, was promoted to Curriculum Specialist Jan 2005, and promoted to Assistant Director July 2005.

I provided face-to-face training on Microsoft Office and other software applications for multiple corporations. I listened to people's questions and issues and helped them learn how to use applications more effectively to solve those problems.

I taught 5th through 8th grade general music, band, and choir, and I developed curriculum and lesson plans aligned to state, national and Edison Schools standards.

I taught K-12 music and band, as well as developing extensive materials for high school music appreciation course.
