I am a Principal (a non-CPA Partner of the firm) in our healthcare practice, and serve as the co-lead of the healthcare payer and provider platform team. I lead healthcare provider IT adoption for North America under our Office of the CIO services. I also serve as the industry point partner for cloud and digital strategy in the payer and provider markets. I have over 32 years of experience in the healthcare industry covering a broad range of senior leadership, management, planning, operations and systems integration activities. I have served in roles as the IT executive and chief information officer in both the provider and payer industries, with organizations scaled at over $6B, $8B and $13B in revenue respectively.In providers, my team’s yielded national recognition with early adoption of bedside medical device integration, bar code med administration and a 300+ bed virtual ICU. Notable achievements include having HIMSS Stage 6-7 EMRAM recognition on dozens of facilities (sites include a top 20 pediatric facility, a large academic, and a 900 bed trauma center) and Stage 7 on thousands of ambulatory EMR users. In my tenure, I've also served as the IS leader in the opening of ten (ground up) new acute care facilities.Served as a Partner and a National Solution Leader for Healthcare Information Technology at Computer Sciences Corporation for several years. Prior to CSC, I was an Account Executive and led many initiatives in the nationally recognized healthcare consulting services practice at Ernst & Young, LLP, which later became Cap Gemini Ernst &Young. And, I started my career with Deaconess Associations, taking many hospital operational leadership roles including product line management.
