As can be expected, these changes had an impact both internally and externally with the associated reputational risks in terms of business continuity. During this time of transition I implemented an integrated communications strategy to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, internally and externally, to ensure understanding, support and buy-in for these changes. The implementation of this strategy resulted in employees positively embracing these changes, while externally, key stakeholders, including the financial, business and technology media, responded well to the consistent messaging we shared with the market, with a substantial uptick in positive media mentions and coverage.
