These past few years that I have attended college have been some of the most challenging and rewarding parts of my educational and professional life. I have been able to take part in courses that have taught me the basic principles of the business world in multiple fields; technological financial instruments, economical viewpoints on a micro/macro level, knowledge on various forms of financial entities that influence financial markets and how to infer and respond to various forms of business related math equations. These courses have not only distilled this relevant knowledge but as well has the proper jargon and social cues in the business work place. Some classes' main purposes is to properly inform us on basic business practices, skills, and formal customs, when comes to proper communication in the business world. Working full time during school has also taught and reinforced these to me in addition. These skills have included, but not limited to, punctuality, responsibility, work ethic, attentiveness, and time management. My goal from both my time working and attending school is to go on and apply what I learn in a professional setting. I am going to school for Finance, so one day I want to go on and join an investment firm or corporation as a financial analyst.
