Chris is cofounder of gravitytank and former professor of design and innovation at the Institute of Design, IIT. In the early 90's he pioneered the application of user research to inspire design and management teams. He continues to explore and integrate diverse disciplines to create a highly effective innovation capability. At the Institute of Design, he helped shape one of the world's first professional graduate programs of design and innovation and conducted research on bringing principles of design and creativity into business.Chris writes, speaks and conducts workshops on the how to make organizations more effective in their innovation efforts. He has been recognized by Samsung, GE, Black & Decker, and Sony for his innovative ideas and knowledge of design & innovation. gravitytank clients include numerous Fortune 500 companies in consumer, commercial, industrial, and retail markets. gravitytank also serves philanthropic organizations including the W.K.
