The lead of a five-person team that was entrusted to assist in delivering a PingFederate integration for SSO, identity management, and context management for a financial service provider using the OAuth 2 standard. This project involved the deprecation of legacy systems by migrating user flows to a new microservices architecture that the team designed and implemented to handle the PingFederate integration. The team performed extensive analysis on current system load, response times, and resource constraints to deliver the most cost-effective, functional, and performant solution. Entrusted to facilitate the technical growth of the team.

Worked together with the clients’ enterprise architect to create a digital profile to product linking solution. This project involved collecting data from a SAP system, a DB2 database and a third-party provider and performed a digital link between a loyalty product and the digital profile of a customer. This project is still running in production today. Analyzed and designed a GIS (Geographic Information System) microservice in Spring Boot for a financial service provider's ATM’s and Branches. This project included researching the DB2 spatial extension and designing the microservice around the technical capabilities of the database. Provided training, technical documentation and guidance to the DB2 team at the client who were responsible for supporting the DB2 extension after the project. Member of a three-person team that helped maintain, support and debug a number of Spring Boot microservices for the mobile division, providing optimizations to various external service calls with a Hazelcast caching solution, thereby improving performance metrics and customer experience. Also assisted the client in driving a testing framework upgrade in the backend systems from JUnit 3 and 4 to JUnit 5.

Mar 17 - Jun 18Junior member in a three-person team that delivered an end-to-end integration of a loyalty rewards program for a financial service provider's mobile application. This integration pulled data from a third-party provider to an internal service which amended data from several internal systems to provide a centralized view for the customers.
