I am an Antwerp-based linguist, looking for a challenging new opportunity in the field of education, copywriting, editorship or media. In 2018, I obtained my Master's degree in Linguistics while working as a copywriter for CONID, a fountain-pen manufacturer. Here is where I learned to work against (very!) tight deadlines, to create exciting content and to translate the technical information from my colleagues into refreshing and rip-roaring texts. Next, I challenged myself to become a teacher of English and Dutch through a Ma(ED) at Univeristy of Antwerp. I think there is nothing more important than helping youngsters discover their talents and become conscious, broad-minded and eloquent adults in the future. I have a weak spot for incorporating as much creativity and innovation into my lessons as I can. Escape rooms? Social media? Universal Design? Great, I'm in!
