I have been a member of Toastmasters International since February 2007 when we re-formed the Quaker Oats Club. As Secretary I scheduled the meetings, published the minutes and recruited new members. I joined the Arlington Heights Club in the fall of 2008 and served as Sgt at Arms then club secretary in 2009. I completed my Competent Communicator Program in December 2009 and my Competent Leadership in July 2012. I encourage anyone who wants to improve their public speaking or leadership skills to join this organization. It is an investment in yourself.
