The LIFT Foundation was formed in 2013 to help support outreaches for the needy in Orange County, CA. The disparity between the rich and the poor in Orange County is staggering. Most people conjure up images beautiful beaches and sports cars when they think about the OC; however, while those things certainly do exist, a completely different picture can be painted just a few miles away. There are nearly a half million people at risk for hunger every month here in our backyard, many of those children. LIFT has teamed up with organizations like the Mercy Warehouse, who helps feed 1,000 per week out of Laguna Niguel. LIFT also works with groups battling the rising number of homeless in Orange County. We've granted several scholarships to Project Self Sufficiency who help take single moms out of difficult situations and award four year degree scholarships that ultimately help these families become self sufficient.We are a group of like-minded people dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty in Orange County, CA. We are focused on concentrated giving for high impact results to empower individuals, families, and communities the opportunity to live remarkable lives. We are a network dedicated to giving. Our platform allows friends, family, and co-workers to pool resources for those who have fallen victim to hard times to help lift them out of despair and put them back on their feet.Our flagship fundraiser is our annual golf event. The LIFT Foundation Charity Golf Tournament is one of the fastest growing charity golf tournaments in the OC, and arguably the most fun day of golf you’ll have all year. This year we will be back at Monarch Links on Thursday, October 1st. Proceeds will benefit some amazing organizations this year: The Mercy Warehouse, Project Self-Sufficiency, The Young and Brave Foundation, and The Prostate Cancer Foundation.
