Christopher joined Business Disability Forum (BDF) in 2012, having worked in learning and development since completing his post-graduate studies. In his current role as Senior Disability Consultant, Christopher works with organisations to identify training needs and understand their business context, embedding disability inclusion into existing learning and development structures and developing large and complex programmes across a broad range of disability inclusion topics, specialising in mental health and non-visible disabilities. Recent and regular projects include:- Establishing and upskilling a network of mental health allies or buddies across multiple UK and EU locations for an international bank.- Designing and delivering four days’ intensive training on disability management for the HR team of a national broadcaster.- Designing a training programme on welcoming disabled customers for over 3000 contact centre staff at a major financial services company.- Delivering workshops on inclusive communications in the UK and Middle East.Christopher has a particular interest and specialism in mental health as an inclusion issue, and regularly speaks at conferences and industry events on this topic. He is a passionate advocate for the social and economic inclusion and de-medicalisation of people living with long-term mental health conditions.
