I directed the activities of Subaru Isuzu's Recruitment and Screening Center during the plant's start up phase. I supervised a professional work force of over 50 assessors who directed up to 10 work simulations for the selection and onboarding of the first 1750 hires for two major Japanese automobile manufacturers in Lafayette IN. It should be noted that the R&S Center recruited over 50K qualified applicants for the assessment process. The Recruitment Center staff referred those fully vetted job candidates who successfully completed a very demanding two day testing and interviewing process back to the SIA Human Resources staff for consideration.

I designed learning opportunities for unemployed youth, older workers as well as dislocated workers. Program staff identified and provided for income support for clients enrolled in Comprehensive Employment &Training Administration (CETA) and the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA).
