Store manager in a fast paced city store. In my time in this store was to change culture and help get a struggling store back on track. The store is currently one of the best performing stores in the business.Completed Train the Trainer program in 2013 and have been involved with training, induction of new recruits and auditing stock takes within the business. Had a huge part in working alongside our Marketing Manager and PR agencies with gifting.

Conducting wine tastings, winery tours and managing staff across the Cellar Door. Learning and understanding the wine and how it was made and being able to communicate it. Also, participating in Food and Wine festivals.

I started as a casual employee at the Crown Casino store and gradually progressed to work in various other locations: Southland (P/T 2IC), Northland (F/T 2IC), Airport West (Manager), Greensborough (Manager), Chirnside Park (Manager), Eastland (Manager), Doncaster (Manager), and ultimately, Chadstone (Manager). My responsibilities encompassed sales, visual merchandising, marketing, stock control, conducting stocktakes, recruitment, staff discipline, group support and training, hosting in-store meetings, and participating in regular head office meetings. During my tenure at Jay Jays, I received the honor of being awarded Best Salesperson (in Vic/Tas) for the 2001/02 period. In 2009, I was also a part of a team of managers that spearheaded the implementation of Customer Connection training in many of our focus center stores. This involved in-depth study of the training material and conducting workshops. This role was highly esteemed within the Just Group business.

Core Team Leader in a Youth Community house. Lead Tennant, mentor and support to young people that are in need. Mainly dealing with “at risk” teenagers, drug and alcohol abuse recovery, mental illness and others. I also act as a support to people who are taking part in our internship program, liaising with parents of children in our care, support students in a local high school that we support, and training new volunteers.
