My background in real estate started working in title insurance for about 8 years. I decided to use that to my advantage and become a licensed real estate associate here in Bradenton, Florida. Upon completing and passing my exam, I went to work for Century 21. At C21, I was asked to join R.S. Olson Better Homes and Gardens. I later joined Palm West Realty where many of my former associates were also working. Palm West was then purchased by Michael Saunders and Associates, Sarasota. I completed the courses and exams to receive my GRI designation. (Graduate Realtor Institute). I have listed and sold residential homes in the riverview area now referred to as "The Old River District", West Bradenton and the beaches. Our office offers residential/commercial sales, full property management, investment opportunities and relocation services. I enjoy listing, showing and selling residential real estate properties. It is easy to sell in such a beautiful part of Florida. Our area always receives awards for the beautiful Anna Maria Island beaches. We are known as "The Friendly City." Manatee County is booming. Lakewood Ranch was just named second in the nation under fastest selling communities. We have the new University Town Center Mall just 25 minutes away. Bradenton still has condos and homes in the 200's. I haved lived in Clearwater, Davis Islands (south Tampa) and Bradenton/Sarasota for almost 30 years. I really know the SW Florida coast. I had the opportunity to represent RMS Elite Properties in their new Bradenton-Sarasota office. I assisted Property Management with rental questions and support. I created real estate postcard mail outs for agents using ProspectsPlus. I assisted agents using the new Paperless Pipeline. system. I supported Paul Kovar in finding possible new agents for the office. They are a great office to work with and have other locations in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, New Port Richey. They have a large rental portfolio and list, sell, lease properties throughout the entire Tampa Bay area. Closed this branch.

Relish Boutique had a team of local artists who each displayed and sold their unique creations. The store was part of the Shoppes on Pine Avenue. She also had the Relish Cafe open as well. She hired me to help her manage the store. She needed an honest (high cash money business), reliable, capable sales associate. I really enjoyed my time working there. She decided to move closer to family and closed her businesses. It was a very fun job that I really enjoyed.

This was the Florida state underwriting office for Industrial Valley Title Insurance Co. They were a subsidiary of Industrial Valley Bank and Trust in Philadelphia, PA. I assisted Mr. Rick Alvarez, Vice President and head of Florida operations, in the opening of the office in Clearwater, FL. I then hired other employees, managed and helped grow the company. This was a network of title insurance agents (independent title companies and attorneys) throughout Florida. I was the only and full support for Mr. Alvarez for several years before expanding and hiring other support staff. It was a rewarding place to work. I still remain good friends with everyone I worked with there.
