I lead a talented team of ~110 IT professionals in a matrix management organization, in support of 19 diverse departments, covering 1/3rd of campus (2.2M sq ft), $1.5M in funding, to "Fostering Student Learning and Success."- Implemented multiple student career/leadership solutions as per the Chancellor's directive to achieve a strategic campus goal.- Collaborated with Campus Health to support COVID-19 contact tracing, testing, vaccine clinics, and state-wide strategic planning for the SlowCovidNC app.- Partnered with the College to track student compliance with GenEd curriculum requirements through IT solutions.- Supervised an Applications Development team and their SDLC, resulting in custom portals and data feeds for mission critical initiatives.- Established controls and processes for managing sensitive data (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA, PCI, Title IX), implemented a data warehouse, data analytics platform, and created a Data Manager role.- Oversaw a Server Administration team managing virtual servers and data integrations into PeopleSoft.- Managed the design and installation of AV infrastructure for 15 conference rooms, 100 digital signs, and 15 video conferencing pods.- Led a committee that addressed an Office of Civil Rights complaint, resulting in the creation of a Digital Accessibility Office.- Revamped the campus mobile app and improved website management and communications.- Assisted the COO with resource management strategy, including budget, personnel, facilities, and construction projects.- Led the digitalization of HR and Finance administrative workflows and helped implement a shared service model with 4 Finance/HR hubs.- Achieved effective employee recruitment and retention through strategic leadership and motivation techniques, minimizing turnover.
