I find great satisfaction in improving workflows or finding alternative tools or routes to make processes more efficient. For example; at KoreanBuddy we began by printing out product invoices and taping them to boxes as a checklist and crossing off items manually as they arrived. In level 2 we moved to copying and pasting product data to a checklist in the project management software Trello which saved time and paper. Level 3 was writing a script to make the data transformation automated from the order form to our checklists. And lastly, in level 4 we created our own backend software to generate both the product invoice and order cards with checklists automatically from the customer submitted order forms. From level 1 to level 4 we increased efficiency 4x which meant we could process 4 times the orders in the same amount of time.
