Forecasting, Scheduling, Reporting Senior Analyst
CurrentI am responsible for managing and supporting Labor Management System (JDA./Red Prairie - VLM and Work Force Management). I am accountable to manage all forecasting, labor demand and scheduling initiatives that include analyzing, designing, testing, implementing and executing innovative solutions for retail store operations. Currently, I am responsible for creating and supporting key labor, scheduling and reporting directives while managing all enhancement projects to the Labor Management System. I coordinate with stakeholders, strategic partners, delivery teams and IT specialists to ensure that product initiatives are well defined, delivered on time and within budget.Accomplishments:* Produce schedules that get the right associates in the right place at the right time through continuous investigation, analysis and configuration to the labor management system.* Saved each store hundreds of hours annually by significantly reducing the time to create weekly schedules. Integrated over 10 peripheral systems into labor management system allowing stores to access labor demand using one access point.* Improved the monthly store planning process by reducing the financial system run time >90% (11 hours to 1 hour). Led project team that re-engineered store planning process resulting in stores receiving financial data 1 day earlier.* Designed and created new enterprise-wide store manager forecasting and scheduling training curriculum. Produced and documented all scheduling related standard operating procedures and integrated SOP's into course materials. Trained all district managers at national retail expo. Continuously train new store managers. Consistently receive excellent course evaluations.* Automated manual monthly scheduling and forecasting process saving both Sears and Lands End valuable time. Wrote 150+ queries for reporting and analysis. Designed, coded and automated new SQL to extract weekly scheduling and forecasting statistics and transmit data.
