I am a CPA with over 16 years of experience in US and global tax knowledge management as a member of PwC's Washington National Tax Services (WNTS). Prior to that, I spent four years working with top tier multinational corporations in PwC's International Tax Services (ITS).I am currently the Operations Director and Executive Editor for PwC's Worldwide Tax Summaries (WWTS), which includes a regularly updated website covering the corporate and individual tax systems in over 150 countries. To ensure that all WWTS content is current, complete, and consistent, I manage and coordinate a team of over 500 country-specific tax specialists as well as a team of outsourcing resources.

  After beginning my tax career at PwC in Tampa, I joined the I-Team, where I optimized the FSC tax-exempt savings and ETI exclusions of top-tier multinationals. I then had the opportunity to join PwC's WNTS practice as a member of Tax Knowledge Management, where I utilized my tax technical and MS Access skills to build the international tax portion of PwC's proprietary tax research platform, develop tax service offerings, and create a sales activity reporting system.Upon promotion to Manager, I took ownership of PwC's database of tax service offerings, which involved developing a quality assurance process and creating a metrics reporting system. I also co-led the development of tax domains on PwC's knowledge sharing platform and instructed courses on tax resources and planning ideas at national conferences. After leading a national team in the development and implementation of a tool that matches business issues to service offerings, I was promoted to Director in 2006.As a Director, I've continued to take on major project management roles in the tax field, with a focus on team building, change management, and developing processes to streamline complex tasks. As an example, I led a national team in the implementation of PwC's web-based subscription management system for newsletters and webcasts.In my current role, I manage and coordinate a team of over 500 tax specialists in over 150 countries in the creation of content for the WWTS website and annual corporate tax publication. This includes monitoring tax law developments and reviewing updates to the website, as well as annually reviewing summaries to ensure that each is current, clear, complete, and consistent. In addition to editing the more than 2,000 pages of tax technical content that makes up the corporate tax guide each year, I also work closely with a graphic design team and publisher to ensure that the hard-copy and eBook versions are created in accordance with PwC standards.
