Aided in the regulatory side of the Environmental Operations department at Roche Colorado Corporation, becoming proficient in the areas of Maximum Available Control Technologies (MACT) and Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) analysis, Title V air pollution permitting and LDAR tagging / leak monitoring. Additionally, I aided in a six-month scale up effort for an onsite pilot plant to commercial production status. Notable achievements at Roche included:- Inspected and integrated Pilot Plant potential regulated leak points into overall plant catalogue- Identified and oversaw the replacement of an oversized valve in the boiler recirculation system, correcting a feedback loop and improving overall performance and responsiveness - Performed daily Environmental Control Systems (ECS) log monitoring, monthly car seal valve lock inspections, and biannual wastewater systems inspections - Kept up to date records of site regulated emissions via spreadsheet analysis, including the editing of VBA macro programs for the more complicated Excel operations.
