I am a Vice President at Builders Vision, where I focus on investing in and supporting companies and fund managers addressing ocean sustainability and the blue economy.Previously, I was a Vice President at Impact Engine, a venture capital and private equity firm investing in companies and funds driving positive impact in the areas of environmental sustainability, economic opportunity, and health equity, where I specialized in climate tech investments.Prior to Impact Engine, I spent 10 years as an engineering consultant providing structural engineering services for the design and construction of municipal water infrastructure and green buildings, including the world’s first skyscraper to earn LEED Platinum certification. In 2013, I took a break from engineering to become the owner/head baker of a small mill & bakery. I hold a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
