I am a New England native, originally from Connecticut. I went to college in New Hampshire and graduated with a degree in economics. I wanted to do something more than just go right out into the work force and in 2006 joined AmeriCorps NCCC. I worked on several service projects along the Gulf Coast, doing work with Habitat for Humanity and other organizations that wanted to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. The projects ranged from building brand new homes to cleaning storm debris in storm ravaged communities. I also worked with the Boys and Girls Club in Baton Rouge and with environmental projects in Florida and Tennessee. During my time in AmeriCorps I met my wife, Mary Catherine, and the rest they say is history. I started with Edward Jones in Northern Virginia, but decided to put roots down in Salem, VA, where my wife grew up. We have two children, our daughter Cameron and Max, our son. We also have a furry daughter, Cindy, our beagle. We love spending time together as a family and enjoy outside activities, swimming and just being active in general. I came to Edward Jones because I wanted to help people. The firm has given me the resources and the ability to do just that and to have a meaningful impact on every person I work with. When folks smile and I see the relief of knowing they will be okay in retirement or their loved ones will be protected when they're gone, or their children will have money for college, that is what inspires me to always do what's right for my clients. I have a process to monitor, make adjustments, inform and help clients and their families navigate the sometimes choppy waters of life. I also work with business owners, of all sizes, to determine if their retirement decisions for not only themselves but their employees are advantageous.
