This included an SPA online admin dashboard and a separate customer-facing SPA that ran in a native wrapper on devices across multiple operating systems in 30+ languages. I led the front-end development on both and coordinated with the product, back-end, DevOps, visual and UX design teams. I was responsible for timing estimates for my team and also participated in feature development and client-facing discussions.

Morsel was a story-telling platform for those who love food. Built around a community of people passionate about food and drink with a curiosity of what inspires others, Morsel allowed you to see the stories behind the chef's vision, the mixologist's creativity, the sommelier's pairings and the home-cook's creative meals all in one place.As the first hire and only front-end developer, I was responsible for the architecture (Grunt + Heroku), design and development of the full web stack (AngularJS, Sass, Node.js) of eatmorsel.com, which interfaced with our RESTful API. I also handled the UI design for the site, designed and built an embeddable module for restaurants' sites, did a significant amount of brainstorming and prototyping, and conducted some user research (think: talking to chefs in their kitchens about our product).

Betterfly was (acquired 2013) a community for connecting personal service providers (guitar teachers, life coaches, Spanish tutors, etc) to students looking to learn online.As the lone front-end developer, I was responsible for full UI design and development of our site. This included a custom online video chat tool (WebRTC), a simple document sharing/organization application (Backbone) and an internet connection speed wizard.
