I founded Chromatophore Coaching to help individuals adapt and thrive in their environments by turning their half ass’d habits to intentionally consistent ones. Anchored in two decades of experience in education, administration, and coaching, I'm dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their full potential. My Story:While initially studying marine biology in college, I learned a great deal about the octopus. There are a number of incredible feats the octopus can do, but the one thing that fascinated me the most was their ability to adapt to their surroundings changing their color and texture, or changing their hue. The name of the cells in their muscles that allows that to happen are called Chromatophores.I believe with the right coaching and guidance, people are more than capable of doing the same. Chromatophore Coaching grew out of my love of coaching and my continued love and study of the octopus. My Approach:At Chromatophore Coaching, I use the HUE Framework, a technique I piloted over the years with my students and staff. The HUE Framework - Hurdles, Unlock, and Experiments— guides clients in overcoming their half ass'd habits turning them into intentionally consistent ones. It is a three step process:Step 1: identify what HURDLES are currently getting in your way. Step 2: UNLOCK intention and consistency.
