Currently working as a Desktop Support Technician/Security Analyst, but studying to become a Security Administrator. As a Desktop Support Technician, my daily tasks consist of troubleshooting Hardware/Software PC issues (including all connecting accessories), as well as Multi-function Printers, Medical Carts, and networking issues. These tasks also include unlocking network accounts, resetting their passwords and troubleshooting issue in the following programs: Microsoft Office (2007-2013), McKesson Paragon and eClinicals (our current EMRs), HPF, WebStation for Physicians, VMWare VDI, Zoll Database, and BioRAD Unity Real time. As a Security Analyst, I am in charge of Vulnerability Scanning, vulnerability patching, updating all desktops, and servers with the latest approved Windows Updates, and Patches, and working closely with the Sys Admin, and Net Admin to make sure the server and switch vulnerabilities are addressed. I also manage the badge security of the entire hospital, working closely with HR (separation of duties) to maintain security of active/inactive employees. I also deploy the AntiVirus, and AntMalware tools to all devices on the network, manage the hard drive encryption, and monitor the network traffic for unusual activities.

Desktop support for the entire Pittsburg, TX office (approx 700 employees) including remote support to employees working at the offsite hatcheries, Feed Store, and satellite locations in the surrounding area. Troubleshooting included SAP, Microsoft Applications, Citrix, and PPC created software specifically created for each location. Operating Systems in included Windows 95 to XP, Server NT4.0 to Server 2003, and instances of Linux, and Macintosh.
