Project on gold formation in the Tasiilaq area Southeast Greenland.Main target is to describe hydrothermal metamorphic rocks from the area and propose a conceptual model for the formation of the quartz veins containing traces of gold. In the process I am working on a polarizing microscope analysing thin sections through transmitted and reflected light. Furthermore, am I using the Gresen's isocon method to look at loses and gains of elements through the profile.
