I lead the governance, risk and compliance teams as well as the vendor risk, and security awareness and training at Code42. We run the SOC2, ISO and FedRAMP audits as well as assess incoming vendors for their security posture and review high and medium risk vendors annually. We assist the sales department in completing customer questionnaires and create and track security and privacy trainings for our employees and contractors. I am continuously learning and growing and I'm lucky to lead an amazing team of people who work hard and laugh easily. I wake up grateful every day for the opportunities I've been given and the abundance in my life both at work and at home.

I lead the Information Protection Awareness & Intake teams at Target. Somewhat reminiscent of my prior role on the Awareness team but now I have three great people to help enhance the program. Our goal is to empower team members across Target toward a greater sense of responsibility and accountability to protect information. We accomplish this through the creation of engaging communications and trainings. Additionally, my team manages all enterprise-wide requests for security and privacy consultations and triages them to the appropriate teams for resolution. The Intake team also manages everyday inquiries about information security and privacy and supplies guidance and resources.

I designed the strategy for evaluating security in manual processes being built for our 2013 entry into Canada. Currently executing on that strategy, I collaborate with business partners around Target to help them reduce information security and privacy risks in their areas.Additionally, I have been a leader for innovation at Target, being a key contributor in building a channel for team members to enter ideas for business improvement, refine their ideas and present them to our executive leadership for consideration. I won a VP team award for this in 2012.
