Nikon UK, Headquarters- October 7-21,2011 / March 15-23, 2012While working at Archway Personnel, I had the unique opportunity to undertake two temporary assignments at the head office of Nikon UK. My responsibilities involved communicating with journalists to arrange the loan and collection of borrowed supplies and keeping detailed records of daily press coverage using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. I also created a weekly highlights coverage report which was electronically distributed to all staff, and provided quality images, information and pricing details for press releases.

(From 2004-2011 and then also participated in some AIMS activities from May to August of 2017). AIMS is one of the TRiO Programs, federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education, whose host institution is Murray State University. AIMS is located within the Division of Student Affairs and currently provides assistance to 126 high school students who fall within need-based and/or first-generation guidelines determined by the Department of Education. Our retention rates were consistently 95 -97%. Our reports monitored students’ academic progress from their initial participation in the program through to their completion of postsecondary educational programs. In 2009 we were recognized as one of the top 8 Upward Bound Math and Science programs Nationwide and were visited by a representative from the Pell Institute who was researching best practices for TRiO Programs.- Taught a culturally enriching Greek language course to a group of 20-25 students and an evening cooking elective twice a week.
