Our retention rates were consistently 95 -97%. Our reports monitored students’ academic progress from their initial participation in the program through to their completion of postsecondary educational programs. In 2009 we were recognized as one of the top 8 Upward Bound Math and Science programs Nationwide and were visited by a representative from the Pell Institute who was researching best practices for TRiO Programs.- Taught a culturally enriching Greek language course to a group of 20-25 students and an evening cooking elective twice a week.
