I hold a Master's Degree in Mental Health and also acquired a Certificate IV in Aged Care, which has helped me further hone my skills. I have 11 years of experience in Consumer Direct Care working as a Care Advisor and a Team Leader in the Australian Aged Care sector mainly in CHSP, HACC, NRCP, and the last few years in Home Care Packages. I managed and liaised with family carers and supervised support workers to find successful outcome-based solutions to each problem I confronted. I have considerable experience in customer assessments, initial care planning, regular monitoring and reassessment of customer needs, meeting care plan goals, always under the directives of Consumer Directed Care and aiming for the enablement of the elderly. I am an Australian citizen and am flexible about whether I work from home or in an office environment. I have a current Working with Children Check, have police clearance, and own a reliable vehicle with fully comprehensive insurance. I am also proficient in most current IT operating systems.
