I have a Masters Degree in Education & Instructional Leadership, a Child Development Associate credential, and I have been a certified reliable CLASS observer several times.I have over ten years of managerial experience and have owned a successful used bookstore. Most of my work experience involves pre-school aged children and families from Head Start programs (United Indians of all Tribes Foundation, Neighborhood House, and Children’s Home Society of Washington). I have managed departments with up to 50 employees. I am a middle sister in a large bi-racial and international family and consequently, I am innately collaborative and practice active inclusion. I grew up in the woods of Amherst Massachusetts, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and on the fens of Cambridge England.I feel it is vital to connect children to the natural world to develop skills of empathy, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
