Key Accomplishments:--Created and led workshops/seminars on timely DEI issues to address institutional blind spots around inclusion and belonging in the corporate environment, including workplace marginalization, systemic oppression, inclusive language, terms/labels, intersectionality, etc.--Developed a guide for inclusive language to help employees, managers, and leadership understand and use sensitive, appropriate terminology in the workplace. --Amended, edited, and finalized content for enterprise-wide Diversity & Inclusion Playbook and Glossary for the AMER region.

Served as lead writer and creator of the gender and LGBTQ+ issues section of the Language, Please Style Guide project. This style guide (the first of its kind) provides ethical reporting guidelines and a glossary of terms for more sensitive and inclusive coverage at Vox.com, other outlets under the Vox Media umbrella, and ultimately news outlets nationwide.Collaborated with other creators (covering issues like mental health, disabilities, race/ethnicity, immigration, socioeconomic status, etc.) to identify and address areas of overlap between sections. Edited and revised content for all other sections of the guide.

Developed public relations curricula for an International Public Relations course in which GSU graduate and undergraduate public relations majors and minors worked as PR consultants for NGOs serving people with disabilities in Guayaquil and Cuenca, Ecuador for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years. Liaised with NGOs under the FENODIS umbrella, including Escuela San José de Calasanz, the Sin Barrera Foundation, Mundo Nuevo, ADINEA, Fundación Hermano Miguel, and Funsiba in Ecuador, and worked with Education for All in Marrakesh, Morocco to coordinate student projects and volunteerism.Worked with administrators and faculty at Universidad de Guayaquil and Universidad del Azuay to recruit Ecuadorian communications students to collaborate with GSU students on communications plans for the NGOS.
